The space we belong to has been getting flattened when virtual reality and Internet have progressively smashed the physical space up. However, given 17 inches screen, contributing to the optical image and cerebral imagination, the vision we see is wilder than it actually is.

In my work, I try to probe into the correlation between the sense of sight and the formation of image. Viewers explore variable visual experiences depending on the distance away from the painting they look at; meanwhile, the distance tempts the level of dots much evener and smoother. Conscious awareness of viewers stepping back and forth to adjust positions seems to correspond to the situation we are unwittingly pushed forward by the tendency of progress with the changing times. Not merely express their ideas, but artists also interact with viewers by their work. Besides, more than physical comportment, the purpose of artists is to recall viewer’s memories with their engagement. Times push people moving forward. Hence, I’m going to present the confrontation between the involvement of viewer (initiative), and the particularity of this generation (enforcement), as a rising strength to compete against the trend of times.
